Grow West’s vision is to rejuvenate 10,000 hectares of the upper Werribee catchment, west of Melbourne by connect large areas of public reserves; Brisbane Ranges National Park, Werribee Gorge State Park and up through to Lerderderg State Park, through a mosaic of restoration works on private property.

Grow West is truly a collaborative project where local communities work together with all levels of government, businesses and organisations to achieve the best outcome for the region in the most effective and sustainable way.

Grow West is continually seeking new partners and investors to continue the momentum of this ambitious project that has made and continues to make a positive change to the landscape.

Nominations open for the Grow West Implementation Committee

Grow West is seeking nominations for the Grow West Implementation Committee which is comprised of community representatives and key stakeholder organisations. It acts as a Board of Management for Grow West, providing strategic direction and advice.

Biodiversity Landholder Grants available (second round).

 Are you are interested in increasing the biodiversity values of your land? Reducing soil erosion, weeds and rabbits? Improving water quality? If so, consider revegetation as a management option for your property to increase the biodiversity values.

Grow West has received funding from the Australian Government’s Clean Energy Future - Biodiversity Fund to create a biolink between Werribee Gorge State Park and Brisbane Ranges National Park.

Grow West is now looking for eligible landholders to provide financial assistance to through this Fund.
